From Chaos to Clarity (and better sleep) | Day 65

I'm delighted to share that I'm getting better sleep.

Last week, I shared a vulnerable moment in my post, and the incredible response from my readers like you has been absolutely heartwarming. Your support, resources, and guidance have provided me with immense comfort, reminding me that I'm surrounded by good-hearted people who are rooting for me - yes, that means you!

It's comforting to know that I'm not alone in facing my struggles. As fellow innovators, we all encounter challenges along our journeys. That's precisely why I started this newsletter - to create a space where we can come together, share our experiences, and support one another.

But I digress.
Let's dive into today's message.

As I alluded to last week, have you ever found yourself lost in a strategic limbo? It happens to the best of us. Sometimes, when we're caught up in the storm, it's hard to see clearly. We get so immersed in the details that perspective becomes a blur.

That's why I want to stress the importance of having a network of honest mentors and advisors. These are the people who can offer constructive criticism and guide us during moments of mental chaos. They bring an outside perspective that we often need.

Recently, I reached out to one of my remarkable advisors, Brian O'Donnell. He patiently listened as I rambled on about my strategies, which seemed to be getting more convoluted as unexpected opportunities arose.

As I mentioned in my previous post, things don't always go according to plan. However, it's important to remember that deviation isn't necessarily a bad thing. It gives us a chance to pause, reflect, and adjust based on the valuable lessons we've learned along the way.

Being an entrepreneur and innovator means taking notice, learning, adjusting, and moving forward.

Interestingly enough, I'm typically the one in the advisor seat, offering my outside-in perspective to guide other leaders. Even those with years of experience, like myself and many of you, need to set aside our egos and ask for help when needed. It's a humbling experience, but it leads to growth.

Thanks to Brian's guidance, I'm back on a clear path, and as a bonus, I'm enjoying better sleep too!

Remember, we're all on this exhilarating journey together. Whether you need support, insights, or simply want to connect, don't hesitate to reach out. Let's continue learning, growing, and embracing the journey of innovation.

Wishing you crystal-clear perspectives and rejuvenating nights of sleep.
